Plaintiff alleges that defendants have unlawfully withheld Title X grants for family planning services programs in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act. Plaintiff’s member organizations, through Title X grants, operate more than 3,000 health centers that provide family planning services to more than 2.2 million patients each year.

Potential Impact:

Cutting grants for Title X funded services will make it harder for a significant number of patients to access critical health care, such as contraception, testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, cancer screenings, and family planning care.
